«Gerts»

The charitable Foundation “Gerts” is the official charitable foundation of the 78th Separate Air Assault Brigade, established at the very beginning of the unit’s formation.

From its earliest days, the foundation provided service members with essential gear, vehicles, and equipment, while supporting the wounded, families of the fallen, and comrades in need.

Today, the foundation works in close coordination with the brigade command, implementing projects to enhance the unit’s combat capabilities, advance veteran initiatives, and preserve the history of the 78th Separate Air Assault Brigade.

Transparency

All funds raised by the foundation are utilized transparently and exclusively for the approved needs of the 78th Separate Air Assault Brigade.
We provide regular reports on completed projects and all assistance delivered.

Charity’s Work

“Gerts” is a community of service members, veterans, volunteers, partners, and dedicated Ukrainians working daily toward a single goal: making the 78th Separate Air Assault Brigade stronger and bringing Ukraine’s victory closer.

  • Unit Equipment

    Providing units with modern equipment, vehicles, and specialized gear.

  • Procurement of Critical Equipment

    Procuring unmanned systems, communication assets, vehicles, electronic warfare (EW) systems, and other mission-critical equipment.

  • Medical Support

    Supporting medical supplies, casualty evacuation (CASEVAC/MEDEVAC), and rehabilitation of service members.

  • Caring for Defenders

    Assisting the wounded, veterans, families of the fallen, prisoners of war, and defenders missing in action.

  • Social Initiatives

    Implementing social, sports, educational, cultural, and memorial projects.

  • Partnership for Victory

    Developing partnerships with businesses, international organizations, and the community for sustained, systemic support of the brigade.
